De Keyser Expeditions N.V. (DKE) was created in 1948 as a subsidiary of De Keyser Thornton nv. In 2008, DKE took over the activities and staff of another old and renowned Antwerp forwarder, SBTC-Sotramar. On this occasion, the company was renamed to ‘Sotramar & De Keyser nv’, short: SDK. The combination of the two well reputed companies has resulted in a strong company with some 30 experienced forwarders that together cover the whole range of logistic services.
No matter what the size, the type, the origin or the destination of the cargo, SDK provides a wide range of comprehensive services such as :
- Transportation by sea of general cargo, bulk cargo, FCL and consolidation containers
- Transportation by air via Antwerp airport or Brussels national airport
- Transportation by rail, road or inland waterways
- Worldwide crosstrades
- Custom clearance: DKE is a licensed customs broker who can act as fiscal representative
- Port handling such as loading/discharging of trucks & wagons, stuffing & stripping of containers, etc.
- Specialised (bonded) warehouse facilities for storage and/or physical distribution of all kinds of cargoes inside and outside the port area
- Regulation and handling of hazardous cargoes
- Handling of project cargoes, both inbound and outbound
